She came into care absolutely terrified of the world—unsure, trembling, and seeking safety anywhere she could find it. With patience, love, and the comfort of a calm, quiet space, she slowly began to trust… and what a transformation it has been.

Today, Diva is blossoming into the sweet, affectionate little girl she was always meant to be. Her furry foster siblings have played a huge role in helping her feel safe, and she now happily follows their lead, soaking up the joy of being part of a pack. She adores curling up beside her people (especially at bedtime!), and her morning routine will absolutely melt your heart—gentle wiggles, soft smiles, a tiny paw on your head, and a sweet little nose “boop” asking for love.

Once she trusts you, Diva becomes incredibly affectionate. She melts into chin scratches, closes her eyes in pure bliss, and leans into your touch with the sweetest expression. She’s food motivated (chicken is her love language!) and is doing wonderfully with her house training when kept on a consistent schedule.

Diva is still learning that the world is a safe place. Sudden movements or being picked up too quickly can make her unsure, but she has come so far—she no longer hides, and her confidence grows a little more every day. She enjoys peaceful moments outdoors, especially lounging in the sun, and is slowly building her leash skills. A harness will likely help her feel more secure as she continues to gain confidence.

Diva is looking for a patient, loving home with another friendly dog to guide her and a secure yard to keep her safe. In return, she will give you the most rewarding kind of love—the kind you earn, the kind that grows deeper every day, and the kind that makes every small victory feel truly special.
