Dino's Story
Dino is a sweet boy who’d rather snuggle up in your lap than play. He’s never met a lap he didn’t love! Quiet and laid-back, with low to medium energy, he’s friendly yet cautious when meeting new people, often a bit timid and shy at first. Once he warms up, he becomes affectionate and clingy. Preferring one-on-one playtime with a human, Dino can be uneasy around some dogs, so he’d do best as an only dog or with one whose energy matches his own. Dino is 4 years old and weighs about 30 lbs.

A retired research beagle, Dino has spent the past several weeks in the Veterinary & Animal Science programs at Holyoke Community College, helping students learn the skills needed for careers as veterinary professionals. He’ll be ready to head to his forever home on May 9.
