Dinny's Story
If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment to visit with this animal or multiple animals, please email us at info@animalhope.org or call 817-984-1129 between 12 pm and 6 pm.

Meet Dinny! The little long-legged guy who has completely stolen our hearts. He's still looking for his perfect family, and while his adoption fee is $300, we're absolutely open to being flexible -- he's currently our longest‐term resident, and we'd love nothing more than to see him finally go home.

Dinny is about 2 years old and weighs around 15 pounds. He's a staff favorite thanks to his goofy, lovable personality. Around here, he's affectionately known as "Dennis the Menace" because he adores playing tag in the yard and keeping everyone on their toes. He's full of energy, but it's the joyful, happy‐to‐be-alive kind that makes you smile without even trying.

While he has been a bit selective with other pets in the shelter, we truly believe he has the potential to live with other animals in a home environment. Shelters can be overstimulating, and with the right family and a calmer setting, Dinny could absolutely thrive.

Please note that since we don't observe them in home settings, we can't guarantee whether they are housebroken.

Upon intake, we:

Spay/neuter

Microchip

Provide all vaccinations

Run blood and fecal tests (and treat anything that comes back positive)

Start flea/tick and heartworm prevention

Offer a free wellness exam within 7-10 days of adoption

To adopt, you must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility.

Do you have any questions? Would you like to schedule a time to meet them?
