Dinky's Story
Dinky is truly one-of-a-kind! This 2-year-old, 18-pound little guy came to us as a stray with a very serious tail-chasing habit...so intense that he ended up injuring himself and needed part of his tail amputated. While that sounds dramatic, it turned out to be a total turning point for him. Now Dinky is calmer, happier, and finally free to be himself: silly, curious, and overflowing with personality!

And what a personality he has! Dinky has the most expressive, wide eyes you've ever seen, always looking a little surprised, a little shocked, and completely hilarious. He's makes you laugh just by being himself, and then melts your heart with his affectionate side.

Dinky is a cautious little guy at first. New faces and situations might earn a dramatic stare, but with patience, treats, and gentle encouragement, he warms up fast. Once he trusts you, he's a devoted companion who loves to be near his people, go on adventures, and share cuddles when the day winds down.

He has lots of energy, loves to play, and would enjoy having a secure, active home where he can safely explore and show off his spunky personality. He gets along well with other dogs, and his ideal home would be one that can give him consistent attention and guidance while he settles in.

Dinky may have lost his tail, but he hasn't lost an ounce of charm. He's quirky, funny, and loving and he's ready to give his heart to the family who's ready to appreciate all of him. Could that be you? Please inquire today!
