Dingo's Story

Dingo is a very Dog-friendly and child-friendly pup.
He's about a year old, and is incredibly well behaved for a Malinois or Shepherd mix. He is smart, and would make a great family dog, or adventure and hiking buddy, or maybe even a service dog with the right training.

He was originally seen with a homeless man giving him away, a few months before he was then found running the streets alone as a stray, and no one ever claimed him. His finders couldn't keep him because they had a neighbor dog who had killed another dog, and their yard wasn't fenced, so he came to rescue, and got neutered and fully vetted! :)
He had some house-training needs when he was initially found (which is understandable if he lived primarily on the streets with the homeless man, and then alone), but has learned the expectations in his foster home wonderfully.

Dingo needs a great home to appreciate what a wonderful dog he is.
He is available for adoption or foster-to-adopt throughout all of California, and available for foster throughout Southern California. With arrangement, he could also be adopted in Oregon or Washington. ??

We ask applicants to complete and return our adoption application, and discuss the behavior background and considerations of the dog(s) as well as animals in home. We then schedule a meet and greet with the family and possibly pets. If all goes well, a home check is performed for common risks, and if all checks out, an adoption contract is completed, a drop off day arranged, adoption fees paid, and pup goes home with a 1 week transition of food.
