Dinah's Story

Hi there! I'm Dinah, a 2-year-old poodle-Maltese mix with a fluffy face and a whole lot of love to give once I get to know you.

My story has a sad chapter. My person, who I loved very much, passed away recently, and her family wasn't able to keep me. Everything changed all at once, and I'll be honest: I was pretty scared. When I'm nervous, I might hide, keep my distance, or tell you all about my feelings with a few barks. I'm not being rude, I promise. I'm just figuring out if you're safe.

And guess what? I figured it out with my foster mom! Now I'm her little shadow. Kitchen? I'm there. Bathroom? Also there (privacy is overrated). At night I curl up in my dog bed right next to her and sleep straight through until morning. Turns out I'm a total snuggle-adjacent sleeper.

Here's my resume:
Potty trained (I know where business goes!)
Great on a leash, no pulling, just a polite little prance
Sleeps all night like a champ
Loyal sidekick once we're friends

I'm looking for a home where someone is around most of the day, or where I'd have a doggy buddy to keep me company, because I really don't like being alone. And if you have a yard? Oh my goodness. I would LOVE a yard to sniff, sunbathe, and zoom around in.

All I need is a little patience while I warm up, and then I'll give you my whole heart. Could you be my new person? Ready for the next pup whenever you are!
