Dill's Story
Meet Dill a sweet little poodle puppy. He wants to be friends but is nervous about it still. He does come over and get petted when he is on the bed with his foster parents. Young kids may be overwhelming for him unless they are children with calmer personalities. In true puppy form he LOVES toys and LOVES to play with other dogs.

He would enjoy other canine siblings to help him continue to build his confidence and for him to have a live in play pal.

His coat isn't the typical soft poodle coat or the wiry and coarse type. It seems low maintenance. He let his foster mom give him a bath but wasn't fond of the brushing post bath. But his hair wasn't tangly so that's a plus. His top knot has a harsher texture like a terrier. This little man could totally rock a mohawk!

He is fostered with another poodle from the same place. They are let out every few hours and have kept their kennel clean and go potty promptly when put outside in the potty pen.

Basics: He is a neutered male guessed to be around 6 months old and weighs close to 6lbs. He is currently in a foster home in Kansas City with another poodle pup, a small adult poodle, a standard poodle and a pom mix

Adoption Process:
- STEP 1: Please fill out our adoption application: https://www.dayofthedogs.org/adoption-application

- One of our team members will get back to you via phone.
- Our dogs can be seen by appointment only. We do not have a facility at this time. Dogs are in foster homes or boarding
- Adoption fee is $580. It helps to cover transport costs, spay/neuter, initial vaccines, rabies, fecal, initial worming, and microchip.
-We do not place holds on our dogs. Please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt. NOTE: We are very good about updating the pet's profiles once adopted. So no need to write us to ask "Is he/she still available?" If the post is up, the dog is still available.

About Us: Day of the Dogs is a 501c3 nonprofit. Since 2015 we have been dedicated to helping shelters increase live release. We coordinate 2 - 4 transports per month from TX, OK and AR to NW Indiana/Chicagoland and the Kansas City area. We do direct adoptions ourselves out of Kansas City and NW Indiana areas. We also partner with other rescues and shelters in IN, IL, KS and MO that are willing to help southern pets in need. We rely on donations to help fund our ongoing transports. Please donate if you can. Every dollar adds up and we are grateful for any help we can get: https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/DayoftheDogs
