Digger 's Story
Digger needs to complete his distemper parvo shots and get his rabies vaccine prior to adoption.
Digger has a side bite. He has no idea he has a problem. He is just a happy go lucky little man.
He loves to play, he will be a wonderful help digging your garden, and I'm sure carrying off shoes and toys. He may also even weed for you as he likes to try to pull out grass and chew on it.
We feed him puppy food with a little bit of water mixed in and sometimes we soak it a bit but he doesn't seem to have any problems eating.
While he's not house trained, he is doing great on his crate training. We do take him out to let him run several times a day and chase around our dogs. We just don't trust our bigger dogs with him inside they may think he's a little varmint, and accidentally hurt him.
His new owner will have to be very vigilant on cleaning up his little poop as he will turn and eat it if not cleaned immediately.
Here is the link to the adoption application, you may need to copy and paste it if it's not clickable.

With Digger being a special needs boy, we will require that his adopter has a vet & groomer history.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Recently we have had to treat a number of heartworm positive dogs and several did not survive the treatment. This has been very traumatic for our volunteers. As a result we DO require past proof of h/w tests & preventative given if you have owned a dog previously or presently own a dog. If we cannot reach your vet after 3 attempts, is will be up to the applicant to contact the vet and have them contact us.
Out of the Area? We will gladly do a "long distance" adoption, however we do not ship our dogs. We expect you to come and pick up your dog. As all our dogs are in foster homes in different places, that would mean you would need to travel to the foster home to pick up the dog. We will not consider an adoption out of area without a vet and groomer reference.
We do not normally place dogs in homes with toddlers and babies. Rescued dogs often come from unknown backgrounds and we prefer to err on the side of caution. Please read the shelter home page for placement restrictions prior to submitting an application. Our group does have a policy of only placing dogs in homes where all pets are spayed or neutered.
This is the link to the application, you will need to copy & paste it into your browser. https://form.jotform.com/81416621100138
