Diesel is a 5-month-old German Shepherd mix who is looking for a family ready to help him grow into the amazing dog we know he can be!<br/><br/>Diesel was originally purchased by an adult child and brought home, but he was ultimately left in the care of the parents. They already had two dogs and simply weren't looking to add a third, so Diesel came to us to find a home of his own.<br/><br/>Diesel is a good, happy puppy with plenty of energy! He is eager to please and ready to learn. Like most puppies his age, he could use some work on his manners, but with consistency and training, we think he is going to make a fantastic dog.<br/><br/>He has the cutest little white spot on the back of his head, which makes us think there may be something besides German Shepherd in his family tree! We don't know what he is mixed with, but whatever it is, it certainly makes him extra cute. <br/><br/>Diesel currently weighs 38 pounds at 5 months old, and we estimate he will probably be around 60 pounds full grown.<br/><br/>He gets along well with other dogs and has been around children. His puppy energy may be a little much for very small children right now, but he is young and absolutely capable of learning appropriate manners.<br/><br/>Diesel is also doing great with keeping his kennel clean and doesn't make messes, so we think continuing his house training in a home should go pretty smoothly.<br/><br/>He is up to date on his vaccinations and will be neutered before leaving the shelter.<br/><br/>Diesel has his whole life ahead of him and is looking for someone willing to put a little time into training and give him plenty of love, exercise, and adventures.
