Diego LOVES fetch, zoomies, and making sure every single person within a 5 mile radius knows he saw them first. Amazon driver? Bark. Leaf blowing across the yard? Bark. Neighbor checking their mailbox? ABSOLUTE EMERGENCY. <br/><br/>If you’re looking for a quiet, invisible dog that politely whispers… Diego would like you to keep scrolling.<br/><br/>BUT… if you want a hilarious little sidekick who will keep you entertained daily, Diego may just be your guy. He’s playful, sweet, and seems to do okay around other small dogs. Cats are unknown, but we think he would most likely do fine.<br/><br/>Diego can be cautious with new people at first and will probably need a few visits before he feels comfortable heading home. Shelter life is loud and overwhelming, so we aren’t sure if this behavior will continue once he settles into a home environment. Once he trusts you though, you’ve got yourself one loyal tiny tornado. <br/><br/>If your dream dog is equal parts fetch champion and neighborhood watch captain, Diego is ready to apply for the position.<br/><br/>If interested, please call the shelter at 231-861-5395 and leave a message to be placed on this dog's adoption list. The shelter will contact individuals as they appear on the list. <br/><br/><br/>The adoption fee is $95 and you receive certificates for $50 towards spay/neuter and $10 towards rabies vaccine if not already done. All dogs are heartworm tested, receive a DHLPP, flea and tick treatment, and are dewormed.
