DICE formerly known as Devo was running loose in our town (Tulsa, OK) since 2021 when his owner abandoned him after moving. He was large and scary to locals and despite multiple attempts to catch him, he had to eventually be darted and taken to the kill shelter to be euthanized. Dice was 5 years old then, suffering from heartworms, prostate cancer, and he was unbelievably terrified of people. We pulled him immediately as he was showing no aggression, only absolute fear from lack of socialization. Dice went through heavy rehabilitation at our rescue and is now thriving in a foster home with 3 other dogs, a kitty, and older kids. He is potty trained, crate trained, and he's a quiet timid couch potato of a dog. He will never be a walk around the block or go for rides companion. He needs a quiet home with other dogs that he can be a member of the pack on his terms as he trusts dogs more than he does people. Dice has NEVER shown aggression, but he is very Shy meeting new people although he's come a long way. He's been in our program for over 3 years and is ready to find his forever. He is neutered, heartworm free, vaccinated, microchipped, current on his preventions and is clear of cancer! He MUST go to a home with other welcoming dogs and a privacy or tall fence.
