Diamond's Story

MEET DIAMOND!

If you’re looking for a dog who can play hard, love harder, and then curl up in bed beside you at the end of the day, Diamond may be your girl.

Diamond is an approximately 212-year-old Staffordshire Terrier mix with one of the happiest, most loving personalities you’ll ever meet. She’s the kind of dog who wakes up ready to enjoy life—whether that means playing with her dog friends, chasing a ball, going for a car ride, or soaking up the sunshine in the backyard.

Diamond currently lives with two other dogs and does wonderfully with them. She loves having canine friends to wrestle and play with and has done great playing with other dogs at the dog park. We think she would absolutely LOVE a home with another playful dog to be her buddy and help burn off some of that energy, although it isn’t a requirement. An active family who enjoys walks, outings, and plenty of playtime would be a great fit too!

And kids? Diamond LOVES them! She previously stayed with a family with three young children for several weeks and did wonderfully. They absolutely loved her, but ultimately felt she would thrive with another dog in the home to match her playful energy.

Once playtime is over, Diamond turns into a total snuggle bug. She loves being close to her people, sleeps happily in bed with her foster, but has also done well sleeping in a crate. She can even be trusted loose in the house when no one is home without chewing things up.

This girl is also a TOY FANATIC. Balls, stuffies, chew bones—you name it, Diamond is interested. One of her favorite things is lying on her back playing with her toys like she doesn’t have a care in the world.

She loves car rides, especially when she can stick her head out the window and feel the breeze. Give her a fenced yard and she’ll happily patrol her kingdom before finding the perfect sunny spot for an afternoon sunbathing session.

Diamond truly has so much personality and so much love to give. She’s playful, social, affectionate, trustworthy in the home, and ready to find the family who will finally make her forever.

If interested in adopting and to begin the process, please go to our website and submit your adoption application or go to where it says the adoption process and click the link to submit your adoption application.
