Diamond's Story
Diamond was surrendered to Harbor Shelter for one heartbreaking reason: she was considered "too old." At 14 years young, she still has so much love to give and deserves a family who will treasure her for the incredible dog she is.

We welcomed Diamond as a Frosted Face on July 8th, and true to her name, she is an absolute gem. She is incredibly sweet, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, rides nicely in the car, and is 100% coffee shop approved! Diamond weighs 58 lbs., and she happily soaks up every bit of love and attention, and thanks you with the gentlest kisses.

Like many senior dogs, Diamond has arthritis, especially in her hind end. The good news is that since arriving at Frosted Faces and starting medication, she's already feeling much better. She can hop her front paws into the car on her own and just needs a little boost for her back end. As her medication continues to help, this may improve even more, but even if it doesn't, she's easy to assist and does most of the work herself! Diamond enjoys leisurely strolls where she can stop to sniff and take in the world. Short, relaxed walks are perfect for her.

Diamond lives in a foster home where she's being showered with love like she deserves to be. Her foster mom shares: "Diamond is a sweet, happy girl and great companion. She enjoys snuggling with her stuffed animal and is awesome with children."

If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who asks for little more than kindness, cozy naps, and time by your side, Diamond is ready to prove that the best treasures only become more precious with age.

To meet Diamond, please email:
placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org
