Diamond's Story

HI, IM DIAMOND YOUR BRINDLE BEAUTY WITH A HEART OF GOLD
Hey there! Im Diamond, and my story didnt start out so shiny I was posted online as a found dog, but the truth was, I had been used for breeding and was about to be dumped. Luckily, someone special stepped in, paid the $150 that saved my life, and now Im officially part of the Freedom Squad! Im so happy they stepped up and paid, from what I know New Hope partners pay adoption fees at shelters so same difference.
My Personality
Im a gentle girl with the sweetest soul. Im still learning what it means to just be a dog, but Im getting the hang of it thanks to my best friend, Lola. I follow her everywhere shes my teacher, my shadow, and my confidence booster! I didnt know how to play at first, but now Ive started joining in, and sometimes Lola just chews on my leg I dont mind though thats her way of saying she loves me.
I love sunbathing, exploring the yard, and watching the world go by. Im not super clingy or a Velcro dog I like to do my own thing sometimes but Ill always be nearby keeping you company in my quiet, sweet way.
My Home Habits
Im completely potty trained and know how to use the doggie door (yep, Im that smart!). I also love my crate its my safe spot where I nap and relax, even when the doors open. My foster mom says Im an angel because I dont wander, I listen really well, and I correct easily if told no.
Oh, and I should mention Im a total foodie. Sweet potatoes are my favorite!
Health:
When I came to the rescue, I was a bit constipated and had to have an enema that took a few days but I am must better now and pooping on the reg!! I do not have any other major medical issues, and my foster mom keeps me on a healthy diet! The first day I was spay, I was a bit high and fell over so I had to take it easy for a few days but have recovered really well. Of course, I had an abnormal uterus from all the puppies that came out of me, not anymore!! No more babies!!
My Dream Home
Id really love a home with another dog (Im still learning to dog) I feel most confident around them and they help me come out of my shell. I dont need constant attention, just love, patience, and a comfy spot in the sun. I promise to fill your home with calm energy, quiet loyalty, and a whole lot of heart.
I am 3 years old and 26lbs, have been vaccinated, spay and microchipped, and my adoption donation fee is $1000.00. I am currently being fostered in Mesa, AZ you can apply for me at freedomfrenchierescue.org
