Diamond's Story

DIAMOND

Female, spayed

~ 5 years old

Pit Bull Terrier

61 lbs.

Microchipped, up-to-date on core vaccines and takes monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention

Untested with kids, cats and dogs

Meet Diamond — Playful, Loving and Ready for Her People!

Diamond is a joyful, affectionate girl who slid into her foster home as if she’d been part of their family all along. The moment they picked her up at the shelter, she eagerly hopped into the car, ready for her next adventure. Since then, she’s been nothing but trusting, sweet and excited to be included in whatever her people are doing.

Diamond has bursts of high energy so a yard would be a great outlet for her zoomies, but she’s also been doing well in a condo with several walks a day. She hasn’t had formal training yet, but her fosters are doing short daily sessions and working on commands during walks—and she’s picking things up quickly! She’s very food‑motivated, which makes training fun and easy. She’s also surprisingly quiet; her fosters haven’t heard her bark yet.

When she’s not out exploring, Diamond loves rolling on her back for belly rubs, soaking up attention, or stretching out in a sunny spot for a nap. She’s happiest being close to her people and loves being part of the action, whether that’s a walk, a cuddle session, or just hanging out nearby.

Diamond’s Dream Day...

Her ideal day starts with a morning and a big breakfast, followed by a cozy nap—preferably at someone’s feet. She’d enjoy plenty of playtime, lots of belly rubs, and a good chew on a tough toy (she’s enthusiastic, so durability is key). After that, she’d find a soft, comfy place to lounge. Once naptime is over, she’ll wander over to you for love and attention and an invitation to go outside to play a little.

Diamond is the perfect mix of playful, cuddles and intelligence. She’s ready to bring joy, energy and so much love to her forever home.

Interested in adopting?
