If playing ball is your idea of a good time, Dexter might just be your perfect match! This handsome young guy absolutely LOVES fetch. Seriously, he could play all day! Once he’s had a good round of chasing his favorite ball, he’s more than happy to curl up in his cozy bed and relax.

Dexter has a medium energy level, walks beautifully on a leash, and already knows his commands. He was also microchipped when he arrived, so we suspect he may have lived in a home before. He keeps his crate clean, too, and may even be house-trained!

Now, let's talk about his favorite possession: the ball! Dexter can sometimes get a little protective of his toys, so he’ll need a family that understands his love for fetch and is willing to help him learn that sharing can be fun, too. We think he’d do best with older, respectful kids and older dogs who can give him some space when it comes to his prized possession. A home where he doesn’t have to share his toys with another pet may be a great fit.

The good news? Dexter doesn’t need a fenced-in yard to be happy. With walks, playtime, and some good old-fashioned fetch, he can enjoy life with his family without a big backyard.

If you’re looking for a smart, playful companion who enjoys both action and snuggle time, Dexter is ready to catch your heart — and probably the ball, too!

Adoption donation is $425 cash, $450 credit, debit or Venmo. This donation includes a microchip.

Another great reason to adopt form Greenmore....

Greenmore Rescue preforms the 4dx or HW blood test on ALL of our adult dogs FREE OF CHARGE to adopters! This blood test checks for diseases such as Lyme and Heartworm Disease that are transmitted to dogs from a tick or mosquito bite. If the dog you are interested in tests positive for any of these conditions, treatment will already have been started or completed. Your Adoption Counselor will review any findings with you and we will provide all medical records, along with any medication the dog may need at the time of adoption.

***A NOTE ON BREEDS: The dog's listed breed(s) is the best assessment made by a veterinarian, pet finder or rescue staff and is not guaranteed.

This pet is being offered by Greenmore Farm Animal Rescue, 246 Clonmell Upland Road, West Grove PA 19390 - PA Shelter # 8755
