Dexter's Story

Dexter is estimated to have been born in early June. He came to BHS from the county shelter where he was picked up as a stray. He appears to be a Heeler mix and can be very energetic. He listens well and appears to want to learn. We recommend training classes to get him going in the right direction. He does have small features, therefore we're guessing he will be medium sized when full grown.

We recommend feeding him separately from other animals since he was really underweight when he was found. He eats really fast so no other animal can get his food.

He has been neutered and is up to date on vaccines and is microchipped. He plays well with dogs his size.

For more information, please visit our website at www.bhsva.org to fill out an adoption application.
