This adorable Chihuahua mix may be small, but his personality is anything but that. Dexter is sweet, playful, affectionate, and always ready to brighten your day with his happy spirit.<br/>Dexter's story is one we know all too well. He was found wandering just around the corner from the shelter in the middle of the night. We can't know for sure what happened, but sadly, our best guess is that he was abandoned. Whoever left him behind didn't even make it to the shelter doors.<br/>What we can't understand is how nobody came looking for him. Dexter is the kind of dog who steals hearts instantly. He's friendly with everyone he meets, loves attention, and has so much love to give. It's hard to imagine anyone letting a dog this special slip away.<br/>While we may never know why Dexter was left behind, we do know that his future is looking bright. He's now neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all of his vaccines. Most importantly, he's ready to find a family that will cherish him forever.<br/>Dexter has already experienced being left behind. Now he's looking for someone who will show him what it feels like to truly be loved and never abandoned again.
