DEXTER's Story

DEXTER comes from a semi-hoarding situation where he spent his entire life from birth in a tiny pet carrier along with his siblings. He has come a long way with socialization and would flourish with the right guardian. He would love to be a lap-dog and also enjoys exploring outside. He is a "velcro" dog in that once he attaches to you, he is always by your side or at your heel.

We are happy to adopt any of these kiddos out together or separately. (Also from the same situation: BUSTER, CHEWY, SOLO) They are all very affectionate and would just like a place to call home and a Person to call family.

Since these boys have had to "fight" for lap-space and attention, they have a tendency to mark territory which should die down after they are neutered (part of adoption contract). They are used to using potty pads and have learned to also go outside, but they will all still need some work with potty training. Once they are neutered and have a lap of their own that they don't have to "defend", potty training should be a cinch.

This crew also would work really well in a FOSTER home that can give them more socialization, potty training, and household manners such as barking. Specifically, we really NEED A FOSTER during the months of JUNE & JULY while I am out of town for a 7-week dog-training seminar.

Please hit us up if you have any interest in DEXTER or his crew!

REHOMING FEE: Cost of neuter at clinic of your choice.

VALLEY CANINE Specialists
Admin@ValleyCanine.org
(209)280-0892
FB.com/ValleyCanineSpecialists
