Derry's Story

If silly Lab-mix doggos are your cup o' tea Derry is just what you need. Derry is just about 1-year-old, neutered, fully vetted and chipped. He still has a bunch of puppy to him, but is smart, attentive, and as playful as they come. Derry will make a great truck dog, camping/hiking buddy, or just lovable companion. We think with some basic training (he is very food motivated) he can become the perfect prince of a pooch! He is ok with other dogs, cats, and seems to do well with everyone he's met. Stop by and greet this handsome, spunky, and happy boy.

Goochland Animal Protection's Adoption Policy
All of the animals at our shelter leave with age appropriate vaccinations and many have been spayed/neutered. If they haven't, you will sign a contract stating that the animal you are adopting will be fixed. Dogs are heartworm tested and cats are FIV/FeLV tested. Animal are also dewormed and receive flea/tick treatment. Adoption Fees: Dogs: $90 Cats: $75
