He absolutely loves to play ball and is very food motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding. Derek is already housetrained, crate trained, and knows how to sit. He’s also making great progress with his obedience and threshold training at the door.<br/><br/>Derek can be high-strung at times and is working on managing his anxiety. When he gets overstimulated, he may spin and chase/bite at his tail, but crate training has helped him tremendously to control this. With continued structure, patience, and confidence-building, Derek will thrive in a home that can help him channel his energy in positive ways.<br/><br/>He’s a smart, loving dog who just needs the right person to help him reach his full potential.
