Denver's Story
Denver is up for adoption with our facility after being surrendered (after 4 years) due to some recently developed behavior problems towards small children.

A GREAT dog overall, but has trouble with other animals (small and large, male and female) and would do much better in a household with older children (we recommend 13 and older).

Denver has some issues with being overly anxious in his environment and he does everything he can to be "somewhere else" where he is not overstimulated.

Previous owners have tried to socialize him with other larger dogs, but Denver feels the need to be the Alpha Male of the pack. He needs a family where he can have a lot of exercise and stimulation (rewarding activities) and where he can flourish in typical German Shepherd behavior (being alert, watchful, bonded to their family, and being an overall protector) without harming family members.

Families that are well versed in the breed are recommended (not required, but would be helpful so we can place him in a home successfully)

Contact us here or via our FB Page to set up a meet and greet with Denver!

https://www.facebook.com/PlattsburgPoundPuppies/
