Denny's Story

Denny
4yr old GSD mix

Denny is a big guy looking for a fresh start. He was adopted from us as a puppy, and unfortunately his owner has passed away and finds himself looking for a new family of his own. He is a big guy and will require a strong handler. He has been good with smaller dogs, but can be reactive to larger dogs. He is currently in foster care with a small dog and children as well as a cat. Denny will need a family that can re introduce him to some training for leash manners, as he has fallen behind on this when his owner got sick. Denny also would like someone to work on him with his greating people manners as he does jump up when he meets people to say hi still.
He is a cuddle bug and loves to hang out with his people and watch movies. Denny loves playing fetch and tug of war, but he also enjoys destuffing the stuffed toys to. He was crate trained as a puppy, however has not been crated as an adult. As long as the garbage is kept out of reach he has been fine loose in his temporary home. Denny is a big boy looking for his second chance at a family.
He has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and treated with Flea/tick/heartworm prevention.

It helps pay for food, vet bills and any other expenses that the dogs require while in foster care with Paws United Dog Rescue. Each dog goes to their new home after being vet checked and vaccinated. Any dog over the age of 6 months has also been spayed/neutered and micro-chipped. All dogs over the age of 6 months have also been heart-worm tested. All adopters will receive a medical history and be made aware of any behaviour problems and any known history from before the dog came to us.
