Dennis's Story

Meet Dennis!

Dennis is a male, yellow Labrador retriever mix, born November 2025! He is very sweet, curious, adventurous, and very confident- not shy at all! He absolutely loves other dogs and once playtime is over, he loves a good snuggle. He is just so goofy and does great in his crate. He is working on his potty training and doing well!

He is being fostered in Richmond, VA and is up to date on vaccinations and monthly preventatives. His adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, and his neuter when age-appropriate. He will require an owner committed to continued training and socialization. To apply to adopt Dennis, visit www.beaglesandbentleys.org/adopt.

Spay/Neuter Disclosure:
Spay/Neuter will be scheduled when age-appropriate and is covered in the adoption fee. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics.

Note: Sending a Petfinder inquiry is not submitting an application. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption.

Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
