Denali

Denali was found abandoned and tied to a tree at a local park. A nearby resident was able to get him some help and Red Barn rescued him from the county shelter after no owner came forward to claim him. Denali was a sad sight...emaciated and suffering from contagious sarcoptic mange ("before" photo attached). His ears were badly infected and he had a multitude of other things medically wrong. Amazingly, he tested negative for heartworms! <br/><br/>Despite all of these set backs in his young life, Denali is a warm, appreciative and affectionate dog. He lives to please and loves to get petted. He is estimated to be 1-2 years old and now weighs about 65 lbs. He has truly thrived in rescue and he coat is growing in beautifully now that the mange has been treated. We want more than anything to see Denali become the beloved family member we know he deserves to be!<br/><br/>Denali is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date on heartworm and flea/tick preventative.
