Meet Demi

Sweet Demi is a little Beagle/Dachshund mix(?) that is about 10 years old and weighs about 12lbs.
She was turned into a rural kill shelter due to a cruelty case. Due to her age and the condition she was in she was overlooked and no one wanted to adopt her. She was there for 3 long months before we knew and were able to rescue her.
She is a senior but is extremely happy and has great energy and is on the go following her nose. All she wants is to be with her people...and maybe some good snacks.
She is looking great now and our vet checked her out thoroughly and ran blood work and she is in pretty good shape for her age and being neglected for so long.
We are looking for the perfect loving retirement home for this sweet girl. She deserves it.
Demi is great with other dogs and cats and is house trained.
She has sponsorship towards her adoption fee so it is only $50.00 to bring this lovely lady home. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.
If you live on a main or busy road a fenced in yard is required. Sorry, no exceptions. This is for the pups safety.
The first step is to complete an adoption application via our website, www.cofas.org (click on Adoption Information, Available Dogs, Dog Adoption Application). All of our adoptable animals are in foster homes. A meeting can be arranged for approved applicants.
Once we have reviewed your application we will get back to you as soon as possible.
We have the right to decline an application if it is not a good fit for that particular animal.
