My name is Delta, I’m a 2 year old mixed breed (I have some lab in me) who is in search of my new furever home. I can tell you that I get along with dogs of all sizes, as I have 3 dogs to play with in my foster home. I don’t bother with the cats who live here, I go in my crate when I’m looking for some quiet time. I’m doing great on my house training manners, as well as, my leash skills. I love to run so I’d prefer a fenced yard. I’ve been fixed, have my microchip and just waiting around for the perfect house to claim me. Adopters must live within a 100-mile radius of Joliet, IL to be considered. The adoption fee is $425. This covers all shots, spay/neutering and microchip.

Our adoption process typically takes from one to two weeks. When you find an animal you are interested in, we ask that you fill out an application as a first step so we can determine if your family is a good fit for the animal. If you are, then we will contact you to arrange a time for you and your family to meet the animal so you can decide if it is a good fit. If you currently have dogs, we require that the dogs be present at the meeting to make sure it's a good fit all around. Once compatibility is determined, we move on to the paperwork and finalizing the adoption.

If the meet is not a good fit, we will keep your application on file for up to 1 year and we will gladly consider your family for another dog.
