I am a testament to the healing power of love and gentle care as you see, I never knew what that was. With my foster family's care and love I have blossomed into a SWEET LOVING girl and I'm ready to find my forever family. I just want one of my own! Keep reading as below you will ready my story and all about me.<br/><br/>Delilah's journey to a new life was when she was found emaciated, terrified with scars from being out on her own in a rural area. Rescue believes Delilah had spent her entire life outside but WOW-has she learned how great the comforts of indoor living are! She loves her quiet spots where she can relax and feel safe. Her past struggles with simple things like food which we humans take for granted has transformed her into a dog who appreciates every meal, especially her early morning breakfast :)!!<br/><br/>Delilah thrives with other dogs as they give her confidence and she also loves PLAYTIME, romping and running with the pup pack at her foster's home. She loves stuffed toys, something simple she's never had and playing freely in a secure fenced back yard and then inside for quiet time and a nap. Delilah is a QUICK LEARNER, good on leash, crate trained and doing great with house training. Her new favorite hobby is LOOKING AT HERSELF IN THE MIRROR. She loves CAR RIDES and drifts off to sleep while riding.<br/><br/>Delilah's perfect home would be one with quieter surroundings so maybe older children and one with gentle, loving caring hands to continue building her confidence. In return she promises ENDLESS LOVE and GRATITUDE to her human. Also, a home with other dogs is great. Delilah will make someone a LOYAL LOVING companion and a GREAT travel partner.
