She came to us from a rural shelter in Tennessee alongside her sister, Sunflower, and is now getting the chance to discover just how good life can be.<br/>Delilah can be a little shy at first, especially with new people and new adventures, but don’t let that fool you — once you give her a little attention, she warms up quickly and is ready to be your friend. It doesn’t take much for her sweet personality to shine through.<br/>She loves other dogs but doesn’t rely on them for confidence, so she would do just fine as an only dog or with canine companions.<br/>Delilah goes right into her kennel and does great in her crate overnight. She’s also learning to walk on a leash and is doing really well — sometimes new things may make her pause for a moment, but she keeps moving forward and is gaining confidence every day.<br/>She’s a smart girl who is very food motivated and already picking up on basic commands, making her a wonderful candidate for continued training and growth.<br/>Delilah is the kind of dog who will form a deep, trusting bond with her person. With a little patience and a lot of love, she’s going to blossom into an incredibly loyal and devoted companion.<br/>If you’re looking for a sweet, slightly shy pup who just needs a moment to warm up before becoming your shadow, Delilah is ready to bloom right by your side. 🐾💛<br/>🐾 Adoption Information 🐾<br/>Delilah’s adoption fee is $400, which is tax-deductible. To apply to adopt Delilah, please send an email with the subject line “Delilah”. She will go home with a collar and leash, two food bowls, some food, treats, a toy, and all medical and microchip information to help make her transition to her forever home smooth and easy.
