<div style="color: #000000; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10px; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: #ffffff; margin: 8px;"> In my opinion all dogs have golden hearts but there is the rare dog that stands out from all the others and Delilah is one of them.  she literally wants to melt into you.  She was found as a stray and I witnessed her being dragged to the reception window.  I couldn't help asking for the story.  The woman who found her in was not able to keep her since she rented a room in a house and her landlords were not dog people.  While I was talking to the woman Delilah practically crawled into my lab using her paws to stroke me.  My heart strings were being seriously pulled.  I was not able to take in an additional dog at this time since Paw Parent was already super full and I did not know if she would get along with other dogs.  But I promised her that I would network the dog.  I tried my best but there were no biters for her and I could not get her out of my head.  So I ended up rescueing her and I am so glad I did.   She is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet.  She is so well behaved and just wants to please you.  She gets along great with all the dogs.  She ignores them for the most part because she is so focused on me and making sure that she does not lose me out of her sight.  She heels perfectly without a leash when we take a walk all the while she has her eyes glued to me.  It is so heart wrenching seeing her so grateful.  I really would like to know her whole story. She would make anybody and incredibly faithful and loyal friend. She is about a year old and weighs around 50 pounds.  She is spayed, microchipped and has all her shots.
