Hey there, I’m Delilah, and I have no idea what it’s like in New York City… In fact I come from Texas and am not enjoying this cold weather in Wisconsin. Frankly, nobody should be surprised considering I lived the first 8 years of my life in the south and only weigh 10 pounds. I am still getting used to a lot of things up here in the north. I am not a fan of my collar and try to slip out of it, leashes are the scariest thing I have ever seen, and please don’t pick me up unless it’s necessary. I am a dignified, independent lady. I spend my days perched on the couch watching everything and will give you love on my terms. Speaking of love - I am a huge fan of other dogs. I would love to have a sibling to play with and keep me company. I also really like spending time with my foster family. I let them know how much I miss them when I can’t see them by howling my sorrows. As my foster family says, I am the perfect companion for having a glass of wine and reading. I may not be able to actually read with you as my sight and hearing are not as good as they used to be, but I am super chill and will love being with you.
