Divorce and then neither family wanted them, so they ended up at the shelter. After being pulled, we realized they are not a bonded pair and would do best separated. However, Delilah would love another dog companion. She's currently living with other dogs, cats and young kids.<br/><br/>This is what her foster mom says about her.....<br/><br/>Delilah is a sweet 4-year-old Great Pyrenees/Akbash. She comes in at 93 pounds. She does great with other dogs, and really needs a doggy companion in the home. She’s also good with cats but she does need a home without any small animals such as rabbits, chickens or ducks. She does great with kids of all ages and really would love to be in a home with them! She's fully house-trained Walks like a dream on a leash Loves being right by you while you're cooking or watching a movie. She does need a fully fenced-in yard ideally 6 feet or higher. She doesn't bark unless she sees something that shouldn't be in her yard. She loves everybody and greets them with a wagging tail. She does have some resource guarding when it comes to her food and treats. So it's recommended she's fed separately. She does tend to eat fast, but she loves eating from her kong and rolling it with her paw or nose.<br/><br/>She does need a slow introduction to other animals until she figures out her spot in the pack. Also a home where she isn't alone a lot.<br/><br/>Delilah is being fostered in Utah.
