Just as we thought - they fell in love with her sweet personality and have decided to keep her. She has a Kerry Blue Terrier as a companion and they really are learning to enjoy their time together. Deidre is a very loyal and affectionate girl who is sure to bring her new family years of love and devotion. </B><P>Deidre is a lovely little girl who can really use a helping hand. She was stuck in a pound and would like nothing more than to find a home with a comfy couch, doggie bed or lap she can curl up on. She is an EXTREMELY friendly pup and gets along with the resident dogs in her new foster home. In fact, when the other dogs get fresh to her, she goes out of her way to avoid conflict. She is a sweetie and will be a great companion for someone looking for a loving pet or a companion animal for an existing pet. We think Deidre is a mix of terrier, Sharpei and Shiba Inu (she has the very soft, plush fur and the “smiling face” of the Shiba breed and the body shape of the Sharpei). She has a great personality and is just a joy to be around. <p><br/>Deidre is about 10-12 months old and weighs only about 40 pounds. She has been fully vetted, spayed and micro-chipped. She loves to give kisses and likes to run around the yard with the other dogs -- and is especially fond of foster "brother", Doug. Those two just looooove each other and spend hours wrestling and kissing each other and it is so cute to see! <p><br/>Deidre is crate trained and also appears to be house trained. She knows basic commands like “sit” and “lay down” and is very obedient (unlike her wild foster brothers and sisters). Please don't be put off by the fact that she appears to have terrier in her. Deidre is a keeper and you will not find a more wonderful pet than her! <p><br/><P><I>We keep our website current so if you see a pet listed here you can be pretty certain it is still available.
