Hi, I am Daxon! I am a 2.5-year-old, 12-pound Chihuahua mix with a sweet little personality and a soft spot for the people I trust. I came to rescue after being saved from a hoarding situation down South, and I am ready to leave that chapter behind and find a family of my own.<br/><br/>I can be a little shy when we first meet, but once I get comfortable, I am a really sweet companion. I do well with people and other dogs and I am a pretty easygoing little guy. I even think baths are no big deal! I just need a little time to get comfortable in new surroundings before I am ready to show you all of my personality.<br/><br/>I am looking for a loving family who will let me settle in at my own pace and help me discover how wonderful life can be. I do not need anything fancy — just a safe home, some patience and someone who will give me the chance to become the happy little dog I am meant to be. I can be cat tested upon request. Angie's Dog House's Adoption Policy
You fill out the application, it gets processed. If approved we then do a phone interview. If not local we ask for videos of their home, if local we do a home check. Then we schedule the meet and greet with their pets and our adoptable pet. If that goes well then they sign the adoption contract, pay the adoption fee and bring the pet home.
