I have been here since 02/03/2026. I had a little misunderstanding that led to a bite once, but I want you to know it was not because I was being mean. Sometimes, I just get a little too excited or confused, but I am all about love and having fun! Bullhead City Animal Resource Center - BARC's Adoption Policy

1) Visit our facility and meet the pets available for adoption. 2) Meet the pet & get to know them. 3) Complete the adoption paperwork. 4) Pay the adoption fee. 5) Take your new companion home (if they're already spayed/neutered). Important Information: Adoptions are first come, first served. We are unable to place holds on pets. If you already have a dog at home and are interested in adopting another, a meet & greet is required to ensure both dogs are a good match. For safety, we do not co-mingle dogs at our facility. All pets are spayed/neutered before going to their new home. Each pet receives age-appropriate vaccinations and a microchip, provided it was safe to perform these procedures. If any vaccinations or the microchip could not be completed before adoption due to safety concerns, you will receive paperwork to bring to a veterinarian to have these services completed. Every adoption includes a folder with helpful resources—training tips, local coupons, and other goodies to help you and your new pet start strong together!
