Dawson

Dawson enjoys long walks on the creek and cuddling on the couch while watching nostalgic teen drama shows. This heartthrob with the good hair has total main character energy, but is still just a nice guy. He's looking for that relationship that transcends all others, something more than a friend or an owner, but more like a soulmate - someone who will always be there for him, will never give up on him and will love him for him.

Dawson, a 1.5-year-old border collie mix, came to us with his buddies Pacey and Josephine "Joey," who may also be his kids(?). How's that for drama? He's passionate about life, wears his emotions on his fur-covered sleeve, and is earnestly interested in getting to know everyone he meets. He loves people and previously lived with kids. He's choosy about dog friends, so he requests a meet and greet first, and would do best in a cat-free home. Dawson is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.

Apply to adopt your new best friend at www.secondchanceas.org/adopt or at the sanctuary any time we're open.
