David's Story

Meet David!
David is a 4-month-old Cockapoo with a loving nature and a playful, goofy personality. He’s affectionate, curious, and always eager to be part of whatever’s going on. David adores people and does wonderfully with kids, dogs, and cats, making him a great fit for just about any family.

Whether he’s bouncing around in play or snuggling close for affection, David’s joyful spirit is sure to brighten your home and your heart.

---

? Rescue Tails Disclaimer
Like all dogs, David will need structure and a patient, loving home. We recommend training for all dogs — not only to give David important learning skills, but because you and your dog will create a stronger bond just by going through the training together.

David is fully vetted. He will be neutered, has received age-appropriate vaccines, and is microchipped. Subsequent vaccines will be at the expense of his adopter. His adoption donation is $1,200.00. He is on the hunt for his own completely committed family. Little dogs can live to be 20+ years old, so David wants to be sure his family is all in for better or for worse!

IF INTERESTED IN A PUPPY (UNDER 9 MONTHS): You must have a flexible work schedule or someone home all day. Puppies need to be let out to potty often. They need socialization, bonding, and training (housetraining and behavioral training). If you work long hours, have a busy social schedule, or are not financially secure, then a puppy is not for you.

We adopt in the local Chicago metro area. We require home visits. If you would like to apply to be considered as an adoption candidate for David, please fill out an application on our website at: https://www.rescuetailsanimalwelfare.org/info/adoption.

The first step in the process is to complete an application. We are all volunteers with full-time jobs. We try to get back to all qualified applicants within 72 hours. We are an in-home foster group — we are not a brick-and-mortar shelter.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us at: RescueTailsAnimalWelfare@gmail.com.
If you aren’t looking to adopt but would still like to help David, please consider a donation for his food, housing, and veterinary care.
