David's Story

Woof! My name is David, and I'm a five-year-old red Labrador weighing in at a light, but handsome, 47 pounds. Let me tell you, life is good. Especially when it revolves around my two greatest loves: food and people.

Food? Oh, I worship it. Chicken, beef, kibble, treats...I'm not picky. As long as it's edible, it's welcome! People are pretty awesome too. I especially enjoy supervising their activities. You know, making sure they're doing everything right. Like, when someone gets out of their car and heads towards their house, I make sure to stop my walk and watch carefully. Gotta be sure they get inside safely!

Walks are nice, but honestly, naps are my jam. There's nothing better than curling up for a good snooze. I also love bath time! The warm water and all the attention? Yes, please! Car rides are a breeze too. Whether it's in my comfy car seat or my kennel, I'm a happy camper.

Okay, okay, so I'm not perfect. I bark when I hear people or other dogs near the door. It's just my way of saying "Hello!" And sometimes, I bark a little when I first go into my crate, but I settle down quickly. Shoes? Well, sometimes they look like tasty chew toys. I'm working on that.

I have this little issue with my right eye. Mom calls it a cataract. It makes judging distances a bit tricky. So, sometimes I bump into things, or accidentally nip her hand when she gives me a treat. But hey, I'm still learning!

I'm a lovable, personable guy who does his best every day. And as long as there's food, people, and plenty of naps, I'm one happy dog!

If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website at www.lolin.org and click on Adopt, Apply for a Dog. From there, you can submit an Adoption Application to be considered for this dog. You MUST be an approved applicant to meet LOLIN dogs. There is no central location or hours to meet dogs.
