David's Story

David is a really handsome boy who is friendly with everyone he meets! He was saved from the euthanasia list at a high kill shelter and is a big boy weighing around 81lbs and around 3-4 years old. We have learned that David does amazing in his foster home and in the yard! He absolutely loves toys and loves having a toy in his mouth.. he is just too funny with that. David is a really cool dog that has a mellow personality and loves everyone he meets. He loves going on pack walks and he’s really good overall with other dogs. His introduction is good, he is accepting of both males and females, and he’s a pretty confident dog. Being a Lab, he’s going to be fun on all kinds of trips you plan! We can see David on family outings, camping trips, beach trips, you name it. The only thing we feel he still needs some work with is prey drive. The squirrels taunt him..so when he is on walks, he does want to go after them. However, he corrects easily and continues on with some coaxing, and is getting better with this. David is up to date on vaccines, neutered, on flea and tick preventatives, microchipped, and dewormed.
