Meet Dasher! Dasher is a 1-2 year old black lab mix (maybe mixed with a little hound dog as well)! This boy is the total package and has the energy level typical of a lab so he is looking for an active home that will provide the physical activity he needs daily!

Dasher plays great with other dogs and would do well with a dog similar to his energy level. He doesn’t have much of a shut off button so if he is placed with another dog it needs to be a dog that will tolerate him wanting to play quite a bit. He would be fine as an only dog too. He is also kid friendly, cats unknown.

Dasher is crate and house trained. He knows his basic commands such as sit, paw and lay down. He would prefer a fenced in yard- he can jump a fence! So with that being said, he would need a 6 foot privacy type fence either wood or vinyl that he cannot jump over. He also loves car rides and loves to be by your side. He is going to make the perfect companion! He would enjoy hikes, walks and runs as well.

Dasher is fully vetted- up to date on all shots, neutered and micro-chipped. He is current on his monthly flea, tick and heartworm prevention. When we got Dasher out of the shelter late last year he tested very low heartworm positive. He is on treatment and will be re-tested prior to adoption to make sure he is negative. He is available locally for meet and greets. He can be adopted out of state after he is heartworm negative. A transport fee would apply in addition to his adoption fee.
