Dash's Story

Dash is a 9-month-old Mountain Dog/Hound mix (and probably a little bit of everything else!) weighing in at just 25.5 pounds. He arrived at the shelter as a scared stray in May 2026 and is still learning that the world isn't such a scary place.

One look at Dash and you'll understand why everyone falls for him he has one of the cutest faces around! Pair that with his sweet personality, and it's hard not to root for this young pup.

While Dash can be timid in new situations, he has so much potential and is already showing us glimpses of the wonderful dog he's going to become. With patience, encouragement, and plenty of love, his confidence continues to grow every day.

As a young dog, Dash will benefit from continued training and socialization, but he's eager to learn and ready for a family willing to help him along the way. We believe he has all the makings of a fantastic family companion.

***House training is unknown, as most of our dogs arrive as strays, so we cannot guarantee they are house trained.
