Dash's Story
Meet Dash! This 1yr old boy was found as a stray by a Good Samaritan who became incredibly committed to his care and is now fostering him while we look for his perfect happily ever after. Dash is on the smaller side for a male husky, under 50lbs. His foster also says he has a thinner coat than most northern breeds, which makes him ideally suited for Arizona weather!

Dash loves people. He can take a little time to warm up to kids and men, but once they share some treats, he is very affectionate, loyal, and cuddly. He is a true puppy, filled with husky energy! His foster does not have other dogs but has brought him to group training sessions where he has been non-reactive towards others. As soon as he heals from his neuter, doggie play dates are in order! She suspects he will thrive with an active playmate or two.

Dash can be a total goof who also has a mischievous side. His foster says that if given the chance, she could sees him getting into trash and other trouble in a home. He does well in a crate and she keeps things puppy-proofed to solve these problems! He is a motivated learner who loves to please, and very treat-motivated. He wasn’t taught a thing before joining us, but his foster has worked on basic commands and he is thriving! He would love a home that will continue to work with him and give him a healthy routine.

Dash would thrive with a family that can keep up with his playful spirit. We think older kids would be best since Dash needs work on boundaries - he would love to be all over his people all the time! Playful dogs will likely help him out, but we aren’t sure about cats yet. He seems curious of his foster’s kitty but hasn’t been allowed to fully meet.

If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic companion who will happily join you on adventures and snuggle up afterward, Dash is your guy!

Adopt Dash: https://azhuskyrescue.com/adoption-application/
