My name is Darwin, and I'm a 6 month old Male Pit Bull Terrier Mix currently living at the Santa Barbara Campus, eager for a new home!<br/><br/>Darwin is an incredibly affectionate pup that is happiest when he's getting attention from his favorite humans. He's the kind of pup who wants to be right by your side, soaking up all the love and giving plenty back in return. At just six months old, Darwin is still learning how to be the very best dog he can be. He'll need continued socialization, basic training, and a family who will help him build confidence and good manners as he grows. With consistency, positive reinforcement, and lots of love, this sweet boy has so much potential. If you're looking for a loving, playful puppy who will happily make you his whole world, Darwin may be your guy!<br/><br/>Like all animals at Santa Barbara Humane, before going home I will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped . My adoption also includes a complimentary post-adoption health exam with a participating local veterinary clinic as well as a supply of Hill's Science Diet food to help make my first few days at home a little easier.<br/><br/>If you're ready to welcome me or another animal into your family, stop by during adoption hours-daily from 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., except Wednesdays. No appointment or advance notice is r equired!<br/><br/>Need to pick up a few essentials before heading home? Visit the retail center at either Santa Barbara Humane campus, where you'll find toys, treats, collars, leashes, and more at competitive prices. Every purchase helps support the animals in our care and the programs that serve pets and people throughout our community. We hope to see you soon!
