What we do know is that despite everything, Darth is an incredibly social, playful, and happy young dog who approaches the world with enthusiasm and curiosity.<br/><br/>Darth greets people with a loose body, wagging tail, and excitement to make new friends. He's playful and goofy, often bouncing around his people in circles trying to engage them in fun. Like many adolescent working breed dogs, he can get jumpy and overstimulated when excited, but he also shows the ability to settle himself when attention isn't feeding the excitement. He takes treats gently and is eager to interact with people, though he'll need continued training and guidance to learn his manners and basic commands.<br/><br/>This boy has a ton of puppy energy and absolutely loves to play. Toys are one of his favorite things, and he's perfectly happy tossing them into the air for himself and zooming around the yard. He also enjoys playing with other dogs and has shown playful, social behavior during dog introductions. Darth can be a little pushy and overconfident in play at times, but he responds well to correction and redirection.<br/><br/>As a young Belgian Malinois, Darth is not a couch potato kind of dog. He's looking for an active, committed home that understands working breeds and is excited about training, enrichment, exercise, and continuing to help him grow into the amazing dog he's capable of becoming. With guidance, consistency, and love, Darth has all the potential to be an incredible companion.<br/><br/>Before adoption, all Boxers and Buddies dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date with age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped. All dogs are fostered in a foster home where they are treated like family - practicing socialization skills.<br/><br/>After submitting your application, our team will contact you within 24 hours. The adoption process includes an interview, home check, and meet-and-greet where all household dogs must be present.
