Darling's Story

Darling came into the care of CVHS when she was abandoned in a local town, and a Good Samaritan got her to the ACO, who brought her to us.

This happy-go-lucky girl craves affection, and despite her size, will eagerly climb into your lap to get your attention! She is food motivated, loves to engage with people, and is thriving with Positive Reinforcement training, learning that keeping four on the floor leads to good things! She's doing well on leash, and is settling well in her crate training.

Her favorite toys are balls of any size, and she LOVES our wading pools in our yards, happily diving in to play "bobbing for tennis balls", and generally getting soaked!

A 5-week Good Manners training course is included in Darling's $350.00 adoption fee. Please call the Adoption Center at 802-476-3811, or email info@centralvermonthumane.org, to schedule a time to talk to an adoption counselor about her, and to determine if you should meet Darling.
