Darla is definitely a "darling." She is a sweet girl who loves to be with people and is eager to please the humans in her life. Darla's family loved her but was unable to continue caring for her. They said that she was good with children and was taught to give "hugs and kisses." She has a gentle demeanor and a lot of energy. She enjoys a lively game a of fetch and playing in the baby pool, and her walks are definitely energetic. Darla will lean in for petting and loves to be brushed. Darla has the potential to be the perfect family companion as long as she is the only pet in the house and her humans continue to keep her active and involved. The shelter has an appointment only policy. We ask potential adopters to fill out our application, prior to a scheduled meeting. The staff is very accommodating, and we welcome any inquires.
