Darla's Story
Meet Darla!
Darla is a sweet about 10 week old lab mix looking for her forever home! Weighing in at almost 13 pounds she will be the perfect size pup for any family looking for a likely medium-large sized dog. She is a pup who likes to explore at her own pace, but once she gets going she is the spunky little addition that every home needs! She is doing very well with her crate training, and sleeps well through the night. She settles well when her people are close, and is getting used to settling by herself. She is almost a potty professional; not a single accident inside! She has a foster brother to play with who gives her confidence outside, but she doesn’t like when he barks; she runs to her foster mom and watches from a careful distance. Another dog to look up to would be an amazing bonus for Darla in her forever home, but she would be just fine as a solo pup as well. She is very happy with a chew bone or a pile of toys and will keep herself entertained. She has not been around cats or kids, but her foster mom thinks she would be fine with both. Likely trying to engage the cat in play. With small kids, families should keep in mind that puppies have sharp little teeth and want to grab everything, so chew toys and bones are big to help Darla manage this.
Darla’s adoption fee is $425 and she is fostered in North Clearwater.
