Darla's Story
Meet Darla!

This sweet girl was rescued from a less than ideal situation. She and her sister Sally were mainly kept outside in the backyard with little to no contact with the owners. As a result, Darla is a little under-socialized.

Darla is a very affectionate and sweet girl. It takes her a little time to warm up to a new person, but once she trusts you she will be your best buddy. She loves being with her people and likes to be near you all the time. She is friendly with other dogs though she can be a little jealous about sharing the attention of the humans in the home. This is already improving with some simple training techniques.

Darla likes taking walks and is becoming more confident every day. We would love to see her in a home with a patient person who is dedicated to helping her continue to blossom. She will do best in a home without young children - the unpredictable movements of children can spook her a little.

Darla is vaccinated, spayed and chipped. Her adoption fee is $450

We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495. Thank you for stepping up to save a life!

To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application.
