Darla is a sweet and petite redtick coonhound from Mississippi - and a very lucky girl to have been picked up by a good Samaritan while running stray. Darla has been fostered for several months in Mississippi while being treated for heartworm. She loves hanging out with the family, is housebroken, and does well being crated. She loves to cuddle and is very affectionate but will also hang out in her crate at times. She's been good with the other dogs and cats at this home. Darla's done well with developing some house manners, although she's food motivated and will counter surf if given the opportunity. She will walk on a leash but her nose leads, and she is definitely stimulated by all the scents along the way. Darla is about 2 yrs old and weighs about 42 lbs.
