Darla's Story

One of the first things you'll notice about Darla is that she's had her share of litters. But despite her history as a momma, Darla is ready to be somebody's baby. She greets everyone with a full-body waggle of joy. She loves being pet, going for walks where she can sniff every single blade of grass, and being told that she's pretty. You won't be able to resist obliging her.

Darla weighs about 75lbs and is currently in treatment for heartworm. Our veterinary team is helping her through this treatment and she'll be good-as-new soon, but in the meantime, she needs to be on exercise restriction. Honestly, Darla doesn't mind... she'd probably prefer to hang out on the couch with you anyways. Darla is excited to meet new dogs too. To learn more about this momma who is ready to be spoiled, call our adoptions team at 707-542-0882.
